What are the differences between the Harley Davidson Sportster and the Harley Davidson Dyna? - harley davidson miami

Looking through the catalog of Harley Davidson motorcycles may not know the differences in the Sportster and Dyna Dyna that costs about $ 6000 more. What do you get that extra $ 6000? Moreover, the Sportster really just "a woman's bike is? Men are those who travel the ridicule of the other Harley owners?

The Sportster is a bike smaller and lighter with a smaller engine (883) or (1200) The motor main unit and trans have a shared drive. The Dyna is a "Big Twin" 80 "(1340) or 88" for models. The new engine is a device, the main unit and the transmitting unit is a unit. The Dyna motorcycle is longer, taller and heavier than sport. Sportster (mostly) a first step towards a big twin Harley. Some never grow up with them to do, but most of them. My old set up his 1200 for a year or two, then we had a FXR, which is similar (but superior), the Dyna. These days, I see many chicks big bike and a woman on a Sportster and Big Twin graduates begin to love boys. And yes, the guys from Sports Tours sometimes have a little sorry for her.

The test is much larger and deformities. Wine in a 1100cc Sportster Therefore, it is large enough to serve as only a womans bike will be. I think this is just a personal opinion.

Let me begin by saying that my Sporty is the fastest motorcycle in my garage and there are four bicycles Ok I have a Sporty, Dyna, Buell S-2 and Buell Blast. Join now, not my Sporty 5 seconds, not yet!
Sport is not the due respect, I rock! It kick some serious *** If you know what I mean. They are not just for women ... the never been before. They are the "sport" version of the Big Twin Harley. I have not seen a woman in the race back when he races in the Harley right?
The differences are that the sport has a smaller selection of engine ... come 883CC or 1200cc. The Dyna come with a more powerful engine ... 1640cc mine is located, but the new larger. Both wheels have rubber engine, the pilot did not beat the hell out of them. Both the suspension, in contrast to the real threshold Softail.
Dyna costs, because the bike has a much larger engine (which is its special distinction), and come with different interfaces. The Dyna Wide Glide is the broadest in frontthis group.
Keep in mind that sports are for those who want to break! Most of them are far too high for girls until this year when it went down. The bicycle as a "girl" excludes, is not it?
The Dyna is about 113 pounds more than sport and dry.
Happy Hunting!

You're in luck. Just swapped my XL1200C one FXDWG. Well, the DWG XL compared to a dog. On the whole line, and it's harder to go where you want to go. BUT! That the CT-88 engine is a big difference if you are a passenger. Simply slide like a train. Weight, what weight? Torque curve is huge. HP is not with the baby, but the couple. I'm in fifth gear at 40 mph and it goes hand in hand happpily group got over 43 MPG. (Dyna Low stinks. Not because it's a bad bike, but I have a 36 "stride length. I can not work the middle of the checks.) Wanted six-speed if I changed, but the merchant had no control over the monitoring models. The sport is "Sea Legs" for a bicycle, so to speak. The XL1200 teach that HD is not really a bike in the Japanese style. you end up with a big right calf on the leg and left arm, a piece of growth below the elbow. ( I am looking forward to now!) Dyna is also what they, the "Dyna Wide." This I now feel. once again doing a disservice to the first, but if you have the experiencewith a heavy bike, which only come to you. I have had many motorcycles. I love my FXDWG. If I'm inside the house, I would. Heck, if you could give birth. I married the 'Ol Girl! I get rid of this sport because they do not as a "real" driver the same thing. But I do miss the sport. He was able to scrape pegs in a turn. I do not venture to the' Ol Girl more than necessary.

The Sportster as mentioned above, are a small setup for a single piece.
6 grand will be added more weight, more power to give more resale value yet.

Sportster engine and gearbox form a unit, a piece when all others have a separate transmission,

As someone who is now in question.

Both models Sporster, 883, 1200

In 2006, New Dyna Glide 5gal. 88B tank engine or 1430cc engine.
The 2007 Dyna Glide is the new 96 cu. Inch engine.

The framework and the journey of tires are very different from the dynamics, the weight of the bike. Sportster bike is also a runabout more than one type, although people are on long trips.

I have two part, both are great bikes. I had four and 9 other HD Sportster motorcycles for over fifty years.
The Sportster has a smaller engine and not a woman's bicycle. The Dyna series of additional gas under and the stock of oil in the tank. Dyna is much more convenient and closer to the ground. The difference in performance when you will get the Dyna, you know, when he went 6K. I have a 06 Ultra Classic and the owner never another bike fun. Not even making fun jap bike owners, we are all cyclists. The only thing I like the Dyna (Street Bob) was the handlebars that can be replaced. Ride on Brother.

Perhaps because older women Viberate Sportster ... lol ... Although this .... a new combination of motor, Harley elsewhere for a separate engine and transmission ...

The Dyna NOT 88B (counter)-engine. And, additionally, with natural gas in the tank and no oil in the tank. The 88B is in the Softail motorcycle, so that now 96 inches.
The Dyna has a seat height lower than the XL, with the exception of 883L.
Some riders Razz Big Twin is a man in XL, but not after XL through the winding streets.
For the convenience of long distance or a wheel with a low center of gravity of the FX line is more than XL. A Sportster is certainly not just a bike "ladies", though. Some of the Harley Sportster fastest to that incurred up to 88 cubic centimeters.

Sportsters are more than a road bike, small and light.
They are also a common design (engine and transmission are combined), which has, like Dyna with a separate engine and trans.

If differences'm not sure.

However, that a Sportster was marketed as a womans bike, so riders scorned. Personal preference I suppose.

To be a womans bike with the comfort factor and less than CC, then man bike market.
